Instagram story encouraging prayer for Rabbi Pinter, Stamford Hill, 13th April 2020
Lecheiris volunteers check an Instagram story encouraging prayer for Rabbi Pinter who is critically ill with coronavirus, 13th April, 2020. Tragically he died that same day. He was a much loved figure in Stamford Hill and widely respected as a bridge to the Haredi community. Lecheiris volunteers help families in the Stamford Hill community with deliveries, hospital transport and emotional support, but since lockdown the organisation has had to upscale dramatically.
Part of a project by Grey Hutton documenting the founders, volunteers and users of a range of local charities and community organisations in the borough of Hackney during the Covid-19 pandemic.
