Disabled people don’t only exist during the day, we’re also around at night! Where do we party? What did previous generations do? How have disabled people helped to shape London’s rich and diverse nightlife?

Join Curating Visibility as we explore London Museum’s collection of oral histories – archive recordings of real people and their stories – to uncover the sometimes hidden stories of nightlife and disabled people for a display at London Museum Docklands.

We're looking for people who live in London and identify as D/deaf, disabled or neurodivergent to join us in interpreting those stories and to help shape our display.

What's involved

We'll be holding a total of eight workshops at London Museum Docklands between Oct–Feb 2026. Ideally, you would be able to attend all workshops, but we do have some flexibility to schedule these around any other commitments.

Participants will be offered a £60 voucher to a shop of their choice for each workshop they take part in, as well as any travel expenses covered.
