Join Creative Engagement Trainee, Edward Campbell, presenting his Songs for Smithfield followed by a panel discussion of the project with sound artist Hannah Kemp-Welch.

Songs for Smithfield is a youth-led project, headed by Edward Campbell, the first Creative Engagement Trainee at London Museum. Join us for the first listen of Edward’s suite of compositions based on themes and sounds of Smithfield – home of the new London Museum.

Songs for Smithfield incorporate lyrics and field recordings created through two workshops with young people led by Hannah Kemp-Welch. Hannah will join Edward in a panel discussion, followed by an audience Q&A.

Light refreshments will be provided as part of this event.
