Meet our experts in an exclusive experience day for those wanting to dig a little deeper into the wondrous world of mudlarking.

Your day begins at Rotherhithe with London's Finds Liaison Officer, Stuart Wyatt, where you'll be expertly introduced to the exciting and immersive world of mudlarking.

During a two-hour tour of the Thames foreshore, you'll learn how to spot fragments of London's buried history as it's revealed anew by the morning's low tide, and hear stories of important artefacts brought to Stuart by mudlarks.

Buoyed up by memories of your fascinating finds, you'll travel to London Museum Docklands for a delicious afternoon tea and a chance to meet and chat with a Thames mudlark.

Kate Sumnall, lead curator of Secrets of the Thames, will then guide you through the exhibition, revealing some behind-the-scenes stories about its creation.

A memorable day of discovery awaits you.
