February half term
Dig into the past this February half term with a week of hands-on history.
Shape your own clay Roman pot, craft shiny Viking brooches and dive into captivating tales from the past in these fun, free family events exploring what mudlarking has taught us about our history.
Need to know
Photography helps families understand what to expect at our events and shows funders the great work we do. As such, a museum photographer may be present to take pictures. No need to preen or pose, just play!
The museum is open every day 10am – 5pm. See the individual event pages below for specific timings.
If you have time, why not also visit our free galleries and get more in-depth with Docklands history? And don't forget that under-12s get free entry to our Secrets of the Thames exhibition with fascinating finds from our city's foreshore.
