Join us this summer as we celebrate London’s diverse Caribbean culture in a free festival for the whole family.
Leave the quayside for the Caribbean and explore the diverse cultures of these nations at our family festival. Groove to upbeat rhythms in dance workshops with Nzinga Dance and make your own hair baubles to show off your style.
Enjoy inclusive performances by Playworker Amber and Gabriel, interactive storytelling from the Black Cultural Archives, and colourful craft blooms with Salina Jane, a British artist of Indo-Guyanese heritage. Get moving with DJ Melvina Moves and much more as we celebrate with London's Caribbean communities.
Celebrate the vibrant flavours and culture of Guyana with a special festival menu created by Green & Fortune's Guyanese head chef, Dan Rampat. Inspired by his heritage, the menu brings together traditional Guyanese dishes and the rich Indian, African, Chinese and Indigenous Amerindian influences that have shaped the country’s cuisine.
Expect comforting curries, traditional beef pepperpot and richly spiced cakes.
Need to know
All activities are free, but some will require booking tickets in advance. You won't need tickets to attend the festival or the drop-in activities.
The museum is open every day 10am – 5pm.

Our family-friendly cafe is the perfect place to sit down and relax for a bite or tea break. We have lunch boxes for kids, sandwiches, pastries, snacks and a wide selection of hot and cold drinks.
You’ll also find our shop with a curated range of gifts and souvenirs, including posters, prints, toys, books and jewellery.
We'll also have a special festival menu created by Green & Fortune's Guyanese head chef, Dan Rampat.
