Free family drop in sessions, with activities inspired by identity and belonging.

Drop in to this relaxed and welcoming space for families any time between 10.30am and 3pm.

Read books, play, draw and take part in craft activities inspired by identity and belonging - the choice is yours. 

Taking place in a friendly and inclusive space, these sessions will provide the opportunity for families to spend relaxed time together, spark new conversations, make connections with each other and celebrate the things we have in common as well as what makes us different.

This is a pilot project running every other month during 2025 starting in May. Please check for upcoming dates.

Our family-friendly cafe is the perfect place to sit down and relax for a bite or tea break. We have lunch boxes for kids, sandwiches, pastries, snacks and a wide selection of hot and cold drinks.

You’ll also find our shop with a curated range of gifts and souvenirs, including posters, prints, toys, books and jewellery.

Prams and buggies are welcome in the museum. However, due to our Secrets of the Thames exhibition, buggy parking is limited on the Ground Floor.
