Resources
These resources have been devised in response to the MDE EDI Training and Support Scoping Report. They provide some key sources of information, grouped together by theme, as a starting point for their museums to become more welcoming.
The information below also identifies potential training and funding opportunities that museums could attend to develop their knowledge and understanding of a particular area of this work and/or apply to for funding.
If you'd like any further support, would like to know if there are any resources or tips to enabling your museum to be more welcoming, inclusive, diverse and equitable in a different area of your work, or you find any of the above links do not work, please contact Rachael Crofts, Museum Development Officer Audiences.
Please note that these links are checked annually and were last checked in November 2025.
