SEND schools days
SEND schools are invited to visit London Museum Docklands on these quieter days.
Students can take part in tailored activities in a relaxed environment.
Take part in tailored activities including craft, object handling and performances, and explore the museum in a quiet setting.
The museum galleries will be open to the public on these dates but with limited capacity. All museum audio visual displays that may cause sensory overload will be muted.
We also offer one ‘at your school’ session with each booking to help your group feel prepared and familiar with some of the people, objects and themes they may encounter. Sessions take place at your school prior to your visit. Request an ‘at your school’ session via the booking form.

Need to know
We can accommodate up to 12 students from each school, with a maximum of 2 groups per school. We require an adult to pupil ratio of 1:5 for SEND groups.
This is a drop-The SEND Schools day takes place from 10am-2pm, groups are welcome to attend for as much or as little of the day as suits their needs.in session that takes place from 10am to 2pm.

We want everyone to enjoy what we offer. There is full physical access to all public areas of the building using lifts or stairs, including our galleries, shop and café.
