Box, dressing case
Large rectangular outer box with wooden carcass. The top and sides are decorated with quillwork and painted landscapes in oval reserves.The detachable lid of the box is decorated inside with a vase of 3-D fabric flowers. The box contains the bottom layer of sixteen thin wooden boxes covered in silk and decorated with embroidery and foil. There is a central circular box and the other boxes are shaped to fit around this. The detachable lids of each box are decorated with a different floral pattern, one has a pheasant with adhered feathers.
