Printed Ephemera — 1908-1914
I Want My Vote!
Coloured postcard showing a kitten against a green, white, and purple striped background. Underneath is printed, "I want my vote". On the reverse there is a handwritten message which reads: "My Dear Mrs Boxall- First of all I hope Mr Boxall is better- & you stronger to bear the added trouble- I would very much like to pop over one evening- but there's only next Wed. clear & expect shall be too busy- but would you mind if I came if I could and didn't let you know- just about 6.30- don't trouble to answer- & you won't be out for long I expect. Can you get the children to run errands for you? It must be very awkward for you, especially as you feel so poorly yourself- I do hope everything will soon be better for you- else you will not have a very happy Xmas- much less a merry one- fancy you having as many as 12 cards. I didn't expect you to". There is no stamp.
