Printed Ephemera — 1912
Sex-War and Woman's Suffrage
Pamphlet titled 'Sex-war and Woman's Suffrage', by Laurence Houseman, published by the Women's Freedom League, 1912, pp58. The pamphlet records a lecture given by Housman at Essex Hill on 7 May 1912. Housman refutes the argument that the suffrage campaign has disturbed the harmonious relations between the sexes by citing the inequitable relations that pre-existed the campaign. The WFL constitution and a list of its officer is printed on the inside front cover.
