Picture postcard titled "What's sauce for the peer is sauce for the premier", showing a man presenting the king with a placard which states "Word of the people. By order H. H. Asquith", next to a woman who has a placard which reads "Will of the people 110 majority". The text printed below the image reads: " 'This meeting calls upon the Government to bow to the will of the people as expressed by their elected representatives in the House of Commons, and to provide the facilities necessary to enable the Bill to pass into law during the present Session of Parliament.' -Resolution carried at the Monster Meeting in Hyde Park, July 23, 1910".
