What a Woman may be, and yet not have the Vote. What a Man may have been, & yet not lose the Vote
Pro-Female Suffrage propoganda postcard, 'What a woman may be, and yet not have the vote. What a man may have been, & yet not lose the vote'. Designed and published by the Suffrage Atelier this postcard contrasts 'worthy' women mayors, teachers, mothers, doctors, nurses, factory hands denied the vote with 'unworthy' male convicts, lunatics, white slave traders, drunkards and those unfit for service who have the right to vote. The postcard is addressed to Miss Turner from Hatty Baker, dated 'JU 14 12'.
