The bye-election policy of the Women's Social and Political Union
Pamphlet titled The Bye-election policy of Women's Social and Political Union, (WSPU) by F.W. Pethick Lawrence, published by the Woman's Press c.1909, pp16. In it the author firstly defends the WSPU's policy of opposing all Liberal candidates in bye elections and secondly records the campaign and results of all bye elections held in 1908. The inside front cover details the constitution of the Women's Social and Political Union (WSPU) and its principal committee members. The back cover lists WSPU merchandise and publications. Part of the collection of objects relating to the Suffragette Movement, given by the Suffragette Fellowship, 1950.
