Miss Nell Kenney
Postcard with photographic portrait of Nellie Kenney (1880-1953). Below is printed 'Miss Nell Kenney, National Women's Social and Political Union' and the address of the organisation. The front of the card is signed ‘Sincerely Yours Nell Kenney'.
Nellie Kenney worked in a factory and a shop before joining the Women's Social and Political Union. She became an organiser in 1907 and worked in the north east, the Midlands and Plymouth. Her sisters Annie and Jessie Kenney also worked for the WSPU.
