Printed Ephemera — 1918-11-04
Letter
Letter from a collection of at least 122 letters, press cuttings, articles by and relating to Helen Fraser. Letter is typed on headed paper reading "Woman's Committee State Council of Defense and Woman's Committee Council of National Defense Illinois Division", and signed by the Chairman of the War Information Department. The chairman's signature is hard to read, possibly Virginia G. Chaudlii [?]. The letter is written to Helen Fraser at 32 Gilbert Place, Yonkers NY, and states how glad the sender is that Fraser is in America again. The sender also hopes that Fraser can talk at an event again, and asks if she has anything she can send which will "strengthen public opinion in its attitude to the peace terms with Germany".
