Printed Ephemera — 1918-04-02
Letter
Letter from a collection of at least 122 letters, press cuttings, articles by and relating to Helen Fraser. Letter dated 2nd April 1918, and typed on Doubleday Page & Co., The Country Life Press, Garden City, N.Y. headed paper. The letter is signed, possibly Lyman Beecker Stowe [?], and informs Helen Fraser that they would like an article on women's war work, but not solely the work of British women. He informs Fraser that they could only pay around $50 for an article, but wonder if she would be interested in writing one, if not for financial reasons then for the "permanent and dignified publicity which it would mean".
