A choice of 'Gods'
Cartoon no 60 of the Kibbo Kift cartoons, 9 March 1928. This expressed Hargrave's belief that mechanisation had the potential to free man from wage slavery and degrading manual work: 'Machine' shall be the slave of Man but we will not slave for 'Machine'.
The Kibbo Kift cartoons were drawn by John Hargrave, printed by Ruth Hargrave on an opalograph and sent out weekly to subscribers, 1927- 1928, in an effort to raise funds and generate new supporters.
