Printed Ephemera — 1921
Lonecraft
'Lonecraft, : the official handbook of the lonecraft boys of the woodcraft kindred'. This is the 'third and revised edition', of the 1913 book that made Hargrave's name as a woodcraft scout. The revisions made the book into a manual for boys who wanted to be Kibbo Kift, but were unable to join a tribe or group.
The book carries the Kibbo Kift Mark on the title page and Hargrave's foreword, dated 1921, promotes his new movement. 'While various States and Empires are wallowing in foolish ideas of Red Revolution and Red Imperialism it is for the Kibbo Kift to blaze a trail (however dimly) towards the Federation of Mankind'. 'This copy belonged to 'Chic' (E. Wilson).
