Grotti Minnie and Grotti Finnie
One of the 'Banners of the People', first shown at the1930 Althing (Assembly). They were worked by Kathleen Milnes to John Hargrave's designs. Grotti Minnie and Grotti Finnie were two mythical witches who ground salt in the Pentland Firth, according to Shetland island folklore.
