Banner of the place
One of two Banners of the Place, designed by John Hargrave as a way of honouring 'the Sprit of the Place' in particular locationsof the Place' in particular locations. They were made up by 'Linnet' in 1929.
This banner honoured The Long Man of Wilmington on the South Downs in Sussex. A group of kinsman made the pilgrimage to the site in Summer 1929.
