Child's cloak
Child's cloak or cape with attached hood of red (crimson) silk satin lined in white silk and trimmed with off-white (blonde) lace. Two quarters of a circle seamed at centre back. Neck edge pleated into narrow band slotted with ribbon ties. Hood formed from straight strip pleated at centre of upper edge to form crown and remainder seamed to form centre back seam attached by short ends to neck band. Condition: good but badly stained at centre front neck edges; lining worn at neck.
