Tilbury Docks: A busy scene by the Tilbury passenger landing stage on 20th July, 1935.
The 'Arandora Star' lies at the landing stage with a crowded Humphery & Grey tug. In mid-river is a Watkins tug - possibly the 'Hibernia' - and to her right the Norwegian merchantman 'Lula'. On the far side of the river is the 'Doric', and in the distance the 'Esperance Bay'. Right in the middle, the Tilbury-Gravesend ferry dodges the traffic.
