Anna Pavlova posed in costume from 'Don Quixote' with her back to the camera and head in profile, her elaborate shawl displayed. 'Don Quixote' premiered 8th September 1924 at the Royal Opera House. The choreography was arranged by Laurent Novikoff after Marius Petipa, set design by Constantin Korovine and Orest Allegri and the costumes by Constantin Korovine, made by Maison Weldy, Paris.
