Egerton Gardens, S.W.
Egerton Gardens off Brompton Road in Knightsbridge. The street was designed by T.H. Smith and construction began in 1886. These houses replaced the existing 18th century ones.
Christina Broom was a professional photographer who produced a series of London street views for sale as postcards. She later photographed the activities of the suffrage movement in London and is considered one of the earliest female press photographers.
