Theatrical souvenir portrait plate printed with an engraving of the actor Mr John Kemble in the role of Rolla. Published December 8th 1829. The portrait is also marked 'all piracies from this or any of J.Bailey's prints will be dealt with according to law J. Bailey's original portraits 2nd plate of Bailey's character of Rolla.' Such portraits would have been sold as theatrical souvenirs for colouring and tinselling at home.
