Photography — 1973
Elfins group, Finchley
Woodcraft Folk was established in London in 1924 and was a radical youth movement for boys and girls which was developed up as an alternative to the Kibbo Kift. The movement advocated life in the outdoors and encouraged children to go camping and explore nature to learn about the environment and to develop self confidence. The Elfins groups are for children aged 6 to 9. This photograph was taken at the Finchley Elfins group in March 1973.
