Sand at the Cumberland Market Community Play Centre
Fun in the sand at the Cumberland Market Community Play Centre. The play centre opened in 1953 and as well as the large sand pit also included a large climbing frame made from a decomissioned steam roller, a mini town with shops and a road on which the children could drive play cars.
