Audience at filming of 'Ready Steady Go' television programme
The audience dancing at a recording of the television programme ‘Ready, Steady, Go’ in 1964. The show was one of the first pop programmes on television and became known for it’s catchphrase ‘The weekend starts here’. The audience were very much part of the show and applicants for tickets were chosen by how ‘cool’ they looked and how well they danced.
