Cilla Black performing on ‘Ready, Steady, Go’ in 1964. ‘Ready Steady Go’ was one of the first pop television programmes which was broadcast between 1963 – 1966. It was shown on Friday night and was in direct competition with BBC television’s show ‘Top of the Pops’. Cilla Black was performing her first No 1 hit, Anyone Who Had A Heart.
