Hungerford School Summer holiday scheme
Children playing cards at the the Hungerford School summer holiday play scheme. The scheme was very popular and was attended by as many as 300 children on some days. The school building originally housed a mixed infants school, a boys school on the first floor and a girls school on the second floor. It was not until 1964 that the separate schools were merged.
