National Advisory Council on Art Education
Discussion between members of the National Advisory Council on Art Education at Curzon House. The National Advisory Council on Art Education (NACAE) was established in 1958 to advise the Minister of Education on all aspects of art education in Further Education Institutions. Sir William Coldstream was the Chair. It ended the central system of art examinations giving greater freedom to art schools.
