Eye specialist at the Pound Lane Clinic, Willesden
A patient receives treatment from the eye specialist at the Pound Lane Clinic, Willesden in the late 1950s. The NHS was formed in 1948 and in principal no patient was charged for their health care. The Pound Lane clinic closed in 2005 and services were transferred to a new Health Centre in Robson Avenue.
