Pupils playing rugby at the Kynaston School, 1959. The school was founded in 1886 by Quintin Hogg as the Polytechnic Secondary School and was part of the Regent Street Polytechnic. The School was renamed in 1969 after Sir Kynstan Studd, who had been a President of the Polytechnic.
