Eaton Square, Belgravia
Eaton Square, Belgravia is a residential square with private gardens in the centre. The square was built by the Grosvenor family and the buildings were completed in 1855 the year after the death of builder Thomas Cubitt. Large terraced houses (3 bays wide) make up the buildings on the square, each with four or five stories. In the 1950s this area was upper middle class and few of the houses had been converted to business premises or flats.
