Gelatin silver print
Rita Martin's photo of Gertie Millar is glued into an album containing another 35 prints showing the actress in various roles. 'Bric-a-Brac' is written faintly in pencil above the photo.
The revue Bric-a-Brac ran from 18 September 1915 for roughly a year at The Palace. Gertie Millar's costume reflects that the revue was put on during World War I. Bric-a-Brac consisted of seven scenes but it is not obvious for which scene this costume was intended.
