Classroom at the Gospel Oak Primary School
The Gospel Oak School in St Pancras opened in September 1952 in a new purpose built building replacing the former Old Fleet School. Miss Bartholomew was the Headmistress and the school had 480 children. Dame Ninette de Valois, Director of Sadlers Wells Opera Ballet, officially opened the school at a ceremony in November.
