Children sleeping at the Franklin D. Roosevelt School, Hampstead
Children sleeping at the Franklin D. Roosevelt School in Hampstead. The school, which opened in Essendine Road, Paddington in 1901, moved to Hampstead in 1957. It provided education for physically disabled children with conditions including cerebral palsy, haemophilia, heart disease and tuberculosis. The school provided physiotherapy as well as education.
