Taxidermist Edward Gerrard at work
Taxidermist Edward Gerrard in his workshop in 61 College Place. The workshop and specimens featured in Alfred Hitchcock’s 1956 film ‘The Man Who Knew Too Much’. Gerrards were most famous for mounting the famous greyhound ‘Mick the Miller’. The firm ceased taxidermy in the 1960s and became a film hire company.
