Handbill, notice
Rent arrears notice issued to Joseph Jeffe in February 1817. The part printed, part hand written notice details the rent owing on Joseph's home at 1 Comleys Court in Huggin Lane. together with a handwritten inventory of the 'goods and chattels' owned by Mr Jeffe, including a bed. The notice states that, if the rent arrears are not paid within five days, the goods listed will be impounded and sold at auction.
