Auntie Cauliflower
Auntie Cauliflower is one of the characters of Una Maw's book The Vegetable Kingdom. The dolls were made by Maw while she lived in London around 1920, and were donated to the London Museum in 1922. Within the book, Auntie Cauliflower is an older women of the court.
Doll with stuffed cloth body dressed in a dress of maroon cotton with a white floral pattern with a band of pink ribbon at the waist. Feet of kid leather. Head resemebles a cauliflower, with facial features painted, embroidered or sewn on. Has cotton covered buttons as eyes and 'leaves' of stuffed green cotton around head.
