Disraeli Gears
Disraeli Gears is the second album by the British band Cream. Cream was a rock supergroup which joined legendary blues guitarist Eric Clapton with jazz musicians Jack Bruce and Ginger Baker. The album was released in the UK in 1967.
The LP sleeve was designed by Australian Martin Sharp who came to London in 1966 and co-founded the magazine ‘Oz’. The cover features a swirling psychedelic design which was a mark of London's counterculture and also reflected the band’s position at the more psychedelic and experimental end of blues-based rock.
