Pole Jump competitor at a London Schools Athletics Competition
The London Schools' Athletic Association is the oldest Schools' Athletic Association in England. It was formed in 1900 and was influential in the creation of the English Schools Athletic Association in 1925. Athletics competitions were held every year and from 1964 they were held in the built National Sports Centre at Crystal Palace.
