Wall's Sausage Factory, Acton
Workers processing pig carcasses in the abattoir of Wall's Sausage Factory, Atlas Road, Acton, in the late-1950s. Originally for bacon production , the factory made all Wall's meat products from 1956 until the late-1970s. The entire sausage and piemaking process, from slaughterhouse to packaging, took place at the factory.
