Teddy boy revivalists
A Teddy Girl stands in the centre of this group of Teddy Boys as they pose for the photographer. Made in the early 1980s this group represent the revival of the Teddy Boy culture. The woman in the centre, aged 33 at the time, with six children and a full-time job, was an avid follower. This photograph featured in articles about the photographer and in the February 1983 edition of 'Over 21' magazine, under the title 'Ladies of the Pack'. This explored the role of the woman within several groups including the Teds, Punks, Rockabilly and Skinhead scenes.
