Eight Passion Proteins With Care
The '17th variation. 29th. Thousand' edition of Stanley Green's Protein Wisdom booklet, printed in brown and priced at '10 pence. Postage: extra.'. The back cover carries a paragraph about THE COURTESANS’:
‘ “The Archers” is a glossy tale of easy-going people. One was the mistress of a journalist, and her mother had a courtesan holiday, in Paris, when her husband trusted her; a tale of none who speaks-up for decent sexual-behaviour, nor deplores those indiscreet openings that often lead to shame and spoil women’s lives. A trend in this tale, is for women to drink and have long privacy with men who are not their husbands'.
‘The BBC’s nearly constant message, in drama and literature to our families is – be venturesome sexually be promiscuous! And what an ally it has in the Family Planning Assn., who would like every scholar to read its book of the sexual cult!’.
