Recipe book called 'The Maple Leaf Canadian Recipe Book' issued to promote Canadian food products in Britain. It was produced by the Director of Canadian Trade Publicity, based in Canadian Buildings, Blackburn Road, London NW6. The book is printed on Canadian-made paper. The first page features a 'Message to the British Housewife' from the Minister of Trade and Commerce for Canada. He requests that 'All other things being equal, I ask you to give a sentimental preference to the Canadian product over the foreign'.
