Brotherhood of the Cross and Star
Flyer about the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star, a spiritual organisation which combines Christianity with indigenous African beliefs. Its world headquarters are in Nigeria and it has bases in the US and Trinidad & Tobago. This leaflet was printed for distribution in the UK, where the group had London branches at Mill Hill, Elephant and Castle, Stoke Newington and Camden Town. The leaflet explains the symbolism of the organisation's emblems. The cross represents resignation and difficulties, while the star embodies spiritual reward.
