The Virago Bookshop, in Covent Garden, Invites You to a Celebration of Feminist Book Fortnight
Leaflet advertising a celebration of Feminist Book Fortnight at the Virago Bookshop in Covent Garden. Speakers include the lesbian writers Suniti Namjoshi and Gillian Hanscombe. Together they wrote the poetry collection 'Flesh and Paper' in 1986, based on a dialogue between them about their relationship as friends, lovers and poets. Also featured at the event is the Irish journalist and author Nell McCafferty, and the author Dale Spender signing copies of her new book 'Mothers of the Novel'. On the back of the leaflet is a list of 20 titles highlighted by the bookshop.
